'Rouen Cathedral in Full Sunlight

Rouen Cathedral in Full Sunlight 1893-94
This piece of art was created in during the impressionist movement era by Claude Monet born 14 November 1840 – 5 December 1926. He is from France and was the founder of the French Imperialist movement. The painting was done with oil on canvas.
Imperialism as the name suggest in art is using bright colorful pigments to impress or gain attention in or to express one's view through art. One of his techniques used in here i believe was the more natural imagery of the drawings and the bright colorful paints ( red, blue, and yellow) creates impression of a real image.
